Qualified individuals to provide care to people with medical needs (elderly, disabled, chronically ill) in a private residence.
Main criteria
Process steps
1. Find a job offer
Get a valid job offer to provide home care to a person with medical needs.
2. Apply for work permit
Submit an employer-specific work permit application. The employer does not need an LMIA.
3. Work in Canada for 24 months
Accumulate 24 months of full-time work experience in Canada in the eligible occupation.
4. Apply for permanent residence
After 24 months of experience, submit your PR application to IRCC.
