Yukon Nominee Program (YNP)
The Yukon Nominee Program (YNP) is an economic immigration program that allows the Yukon government to nominate qualified foreign workers and entrepreneurs for permanent residence in Canada. This program aims to address labor shortages in the territory and support local economic growth. Yukon, with a population of less than 45,000, offers unique opportunities in tourism, mining, construction, and services sectors.
Who is this program for
The YNP is designed for skilled workers with a valid job offer from a Yukon employer, semi-skilled workers in in-demand occupations, international graduates who studied in Yukon, entrepreneurs wishing to establish or purchase a business in Yukon, and temporary foreign workers already in Yukon with a valid work permit.
