Who is this program for
Artists, musicians, dancers, writers, athletes, coaches, and other arts and sports professionals who have participated in cultural or athletic activities on a world scale (festivals, international competitions, etc.) or who have been self-employed in these fields.
Main criteria
Process steps
1. Verify eligibility
Confirm you have the required experience in cultural or sports fields and that you obtain at least 35 points.
2. Gather proof of experience
Document your cultural or athletic activities: contracts, press articles, participation in international events, income, etc.
3. Submit permanent residence application
Submit your application online to IRCC with all required documents and fee payment.
4. Interview (if required)
You may be called for an interview to assess your plan and ability to establish yourself as self-employed.
5. Final decision
If approved, you receive permanent residence confirmation and can immigrate to Canada.
